The Opportunity

We’re looking for a senior-level AI Strategic Advisor with deep pharmaceutical experience to lead consulting engagements, shape the AI vision for global pharma clients, and deliver measurable transformation. You will engage directly with stakeholders across drug development, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial functions to design AI strategies that drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Engagement Leadership

• Define enterprise AI strategies for leading pharmaceutical clients, grounded in industry trends, scientific workflows, and digital transformation goals.
• Lead end-to-end consulting engagements—from opportunity discovery to implementation guidance—ensuring value realization across R&D, regulatory, and commercial areas.
• Drive engagement success with executive sponsors, working across functional and geographic boundaries.

Industry Expertise & Innovation

• Provide thought leadership on the application of generative AI and ML in drug discovery, trial design, medical content generation, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable AI solution roadmaps that balance innovation with compliance (GxP, FDA/EMA, ICH).
• Identify and champion breakthrough use cases that deliver strategic advantage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal data scientists, engineers, and product managers to tailor solutions to pharma‑specific problems.
• Act as a strategic advisor in client workshops, innovation sprints, and capability‑building sessions.
• Contribute to solution refinement based on deep domain knowledge and client feedback.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on digital transformation, advanced analytics, or strategic consulting.
• Demonstrated success in shaping AI or data‑driven strategies in pharma R&D, regulatory, or commercialization settings.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, FDA guidelines, GDPR) and pharmaceutical business models.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience at a top‑tier consultancy, pharma innovation team, or AI‑driven life sciences startup.
• Direct knowledge of how AI impacts specific functions such as biomarker discovery, synthetic trial data, or HCP engagement.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, biomedical informatics, or related field (PhD/MD/MBA preferred).
