Job Description

The DC Material Handler is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing merchandise within the Distribution Center. Core responsibilities include operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) to transport goods safely, handling cartons and garments for sorter induction, and supporting productivity and quality standards. All PIT operators must complete and maintain company-provided forklift certification. Flexibility to support other departments as needed is essential to meet evolving business demands.

  • Maintain consistent productivity while performing detailed and precise tasks.
  • Achieve and sustain departmental production and quality standards.
  • Operate power equipment in full compliance with safety protocols.
  • Adapt to changing schedules or assignments to support operational priorities.
  • Willingness to work in any department or functional area based on operational needs.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with a proven record of reliable attendance.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to stay focused on tasks.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
  • Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
  • Ability to carry equipment, move boxes/samples, etc.
  • For Stores & Distribution Centers: Bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.
